    1. Cheri, thank you for making your selections - the Salad is wonderful, I have made it once before and will make it again and the Gazpacho seems like a great choice for the warm month of August. Late summer tomatoes, ahhh...

    2. Thanks for putting up the subscription. I check regularly on those dates, but the problem I think is the time difference between the US and Germany. It is just easier to get a email then having to keep checking.

  9. Absolutely not fair this month. Too many good recipes offered. But...my choices are Gazpacho, Pasta with fennel, arugula, and lemon, and Caponata. I am also hoping to add Quick couscous salad with pepper and feta to my repertoire. The more I cook from this book and get more familiar with "its ways", the easier the recipes are coming together for me. Andrea, I think Betsy is going to join us this month. I urged her to also and am sending her an email about the recipes I have picked. I think this cookbook is right up her alley.

    1. Mary, yes, fair, just make them all...just joking but a few of them are quite easy and the other few do get even easier as you cook your way through the book - the more you cook from the book the easier it gets - could not agree with you more. Thanks for letting me know about Betsy, she did contact me about a week ago - hopefully she will be able to participate this month. Thank you for your selections!

  10. I'm on vacation but brought my book with me so hoping to cook a few things. In Orlando doing the parks with my family this week, then flying to the west coast to visit family and freinds. Rental houses don't always have the best kitchens but looking forward to trying the bruschetta and couscous salad and maybe a few more time and produce permitting...
