  1. Will try my best to cook my way through the list - we shall see - this is going to be one busy month with two weeks fall scholl break and a cooking competition in Hamburg....
Getting started with the "Cauliflower and chickpea curry" today as well as the "Basil and mozzarella tart".
Enjoy the easy October recipe selections and "see" you all soon!

    3. Dear Mary, as easy as can be and delicious - there is so much cauliflower available around here this month, so that recipe for the curry was a welcome change to my ususal ones.

  3. Well, here goes! My aspirations for the month are:
Roasted parsnip, puy lentil and watercress salad (page 90)
Poached egg on toast (page 210) (I've actually made this a zillion times - I think I ought to be able to again!)
Broiled eggplant with chile and honey (page 340)
And maybe the Tomato, Basil and mozzarella tart (I've made it before - it's delicious!)

Everything looks delicious!! Thanks again Andrea.

  9. It's hard to say, but I'm dropping out of the club; being in three clubs is proving to be too much, so I'm reluctantly giving up two of them - not only am I getting a little burnt out, but I want to get back to cooking through the numerous books I own (one recipe per book) - the reason my blog was started. I want to thank you, Andrea, for including me in this fun adventure. I'll be stopping by from time to time, to see what everyone has been cooking up. Happy cooking to all!

  10. This is my first time cooking with the group. But since I don't have my book yet, (though it has shipped!) I am going to be conservative this month and only commit to the parsnip, lentil & watercress salad. Also, the only way I can leave comments here is if I log in with a google account that I don't really use. But I'll be blogging from my new blog, A Salad For All Seasons. Thanks Andrea for such great choices! I'll be looking forward to ooogling everyone's tasty creations! : )

"There's another adorable lion cub. Your daughters are as lovely as you, my dear friend.
I came here looking for dinner ideas. Can't wait to see what you'll inspire me to make! xoox"
